End-of-Life Counseling

Ashley is currently completing her dissertation at North Carolina State University. Her current work centers around end-of-life counseling, providing person-centered, individualized care for terminally ill patients, how to expand this area of the counseling profession and provide evidenced based instruction for counselors practicing in this specialty area.

3 1/2 week tour of India.
Visited Varanasi, witnessed 24 hour cremations, death rituals and processions. Further exploration is warranted specifically related to the psychological/emotional care of the dying.
