Serenity Place is a private practice that provides outpatient counseling services for individuals, couples and families struggling with life transitions. What are life transitions? Life transitions are the circumstances, challenges and changes we experience in life that may cause us to feel anxious, sad, confused, or even depressed at times. Changes in jobs, where we live, relationships and other events are considered to be life transitions. Life transitions happen throughout life and learning how to better navigate these can help us in the future. Our counselor specializes in life transitions but is also equipped to address other challenges experienced in life.

RATES AND INSURANCE
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully. I have included questions below that may be helpful in determining your coverage.
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Serenity Place Counseling Services is not in-network with all insurances, but can bill your carrier on your behalf for any out-of-network benefits. As a courtesy, this service is offered to save clients the hassle of having to submit the bills themselves.

REDUCED FEE/SLIDING SCALE
Serenity Place Counseling Services offers a reduced fee, otherwise known as payment based on a sliding scale on a limited basis.
PAYMENT
Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted as payment for services.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you do not show up at the time of your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified your counselor at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the cost of the missed session.
Please call or email if there is an emergency and you cannot make your scheduled appointment.
